Psifta Wetland, Attica

On the road to Methana, Greece surprised us. Again. We were heading to Methana Peninsula. That was the plan. We lifted the drone. And just had to take photos and videos. Psifta We'd never heard of it. A lagoon sitting right next to the beach, between the villages of Metamorfosi and Kalloni, on the coastal road through Troizinia. Kanali Beach Bar & Restaurant, Poros Island. Skip the Menu

How a parking ticket led us to one of the best meals we've had in Greece We weren't even supposed to eat there. We closed the menu. Told them to bring whatever they wanted. Best decision of the day. Messolonghi. The Lagoon I Didn't Know Existed.

First visit 2015. Four or five times since. Still haven't seen all of it. Kleisova lagoon, part of Messolonghi Lagoon National Park I discovered the place in 2015. David was two and a half years old, and at some point the road changed. Water on both sides. Flat, calm, endless. Fishing huts on stilts.
